Birthday Parties
Have an extra special birthday at the International Centre for Birds of Prey, children or adults we don’t mind and welcome you all!!
On your arrival at the Centre there will be an introductory welcome and this will be followed by a short guided tour of some of the birds. The guests will watch the nearest flying demonstration to their arrival time (see the visit page for summer and winter flying times) the birthday person will have their name announced at the demonstration, if they are happy with that.
After the demonstration or later in the day, depending on timings, the birthday person will have the chance to handle a bird with one of the bird staff. Photographs may be taken with pleasure, please remember that under the Data Protection Act, permission must be granted by parents for photos of children.
The rest of the day can be spent in our grounds, viewing the rest of the collection, walking through the grounds, or playing games in the field. Please remember we need the grounds to be quiet and vacated during the three daily demonstrations. There is a play area that can be used by younger children.
We like to provide the birthday tea………………… saves you the bother.
Gifts If you wish to give each child a party bag of little gifts as a memento of the day these can be supplied by the shop up to the value of your choice.
Prices The cost per child for the day is £10.00, which includes admission.
The Birthday Tea is £5.00 per head, giving a total of £15.00 per head if the tea is required.
Adults pay the normal prices to come in and may scrounge the tea from the kids!
There is a minimum booking number of ten children and a £25 non-refundable deposit is required when booking.
