Valentines Owl Evening

Valentines Owl Evening

Spaces are now available for our special Valentines owl evening! If you are trying to think of a unique way to spend some time with a loved one it’s the perfect opportunity!

We start with a lovely glass of bubbles and chocolate before heading off for a guided tour by torchlight, where the owls look alert and awake – very different from as you see them during the day.

After the tour warm up with a delicious hog roast (vegetarian option available) and mulled wine or hot apple juice with cinnamon.  This is followed by a flying demonstration of small owls which takes place in the Indoor Flying area with special low level lighting.

Finally, we end the evening with owls free flying in their natural element, outside in the flying field with special underground low level lighting. The owls glimmering through the lights as they cross the flying ground, and the Barn Owl hovering over one of the lights is just amazing. An experience not to be missed!

The Owl Evenings are ticketed only, and places are limited so book now!

In November we released six of the non-breeding captive-reared vultures,
