Wild about Photography Day!

This photography is OFF site, so participants must be prepared to walk at least half a mile (which is not far!) some times up hill and preferably not die of a heart attack in doing so. We are looking for great backgrounds and spectacular view as setting for the birds. Some of the opportunities will be static birds and some for the adventurous will be free flying birds.

Be ready for the off by 10.00 at the Centre, we will have a quick guided tour of the birds and a coffee and then get into vehicles and move to the chosen site of the day. During the morning session we will have three different birds out, one at a time, each in a different setting and we will move from one to the next.

Lunch will be a picnic as we change over birds and staff, this will be a weather-dependent day.

After lunch three more birds arrive, two of which will be flown free as well as used for static shots, these will be in the more open settings with huge vistas as the backdrop.

At 4.30 we will arrive back at the Centre when participants are welcome to wander round, photograph the last flying demonstration or the trained birds in the Hawk Walk before we close at 5.30pm

The cost of this day is £140 per person to include coffee and lunch, and a staff member to help you. Remember not only can you get this for yourself, or organise a day for your camera club, but it also makes a great present as a voucher. We can arrange a day of your choice for groups of 5 or more.

Please note: We apologise but should it occur that there are not enough people to make the course viable for us we will have to ask you to choose another date. We need to have at least 5 people on the photography days.
