One-day Experience Courses - the Hawk Day
Arriving at 10.00, the morning is taking up with bird handling and training. Coffee is provided mid morning and you will also have a guided tour of the Centre.
After lunch, provided by the Centre, participants do more bird handling, and flying birds to the fist, at some time during the afternoon they will watch one of the demonstrations. If you have a special desire to handle a particular bird and we have a suitable one available at the time, we do our best to help with requests.
You are encouraged to bring cameras and take photos to remind you of your day, our staff can help with this if you so wish.
Your day finishes at about 4.00 when you are most welcome to look round, watch the rest of any flying demonstration going on, or just relax and watch the birds.

Please note: We apologise, but we cannot afford to run the courses for less than three people. In the rare event that there are not enough people to make the course viable, we will ask you to choose another date.
