Courses and Experience Days
We offer a number of falconry courses, which you can look at if you check out the various different picture drop downs on the left. In addition, there is a range of photographic courses.
You can take your pick:
Three different one day experience days held on site as well as a one day course which is off site, hunting, and lots of walking!
For the first time this year we are offering Half Day Courses for adults and children which provide an exciting hands-on taster of the world of falconry.
A five day falconry course for those wanting to get a diurnal bird of their own and hunt with it in the future.
A 2-day refresher course which can also be used as an opportunity for a Lantra Awards assessment
A PWLO (Police Wildlife Liaison Course) for those officers in the police force and other groups such as the RSPCA who are going to be working with wildlife and particularly with birds of prey.
We also offer great Photographic opportunites. These are One-day Teaching Coursesdesigned to cater for beginners to intermediates, with virtually any kind of camera. There are also Photo Experience Days and Half Days for those who simply wish to have close access to the birds in natural surroundings.
In addition, for the first time this year, we are offering Drawing Workshops here at the centre, where you will receive tuition from our resident artist, Adam Crisford
We can also tailor courses for you – so don’t be afraid to ask. All of them are hands-on and very practical. Throughout those days, you will be supervised and taught by our experienced staff.
You may wish to buy a voucher for a course and give it as a present. It will be arranged on a date to suit you and the experience is all the better for being in a small group.
